GOOD NEWS!
After almost 2 years of being side-lined from running...my doctor gave me the thumbs up to run again! I had an MRI done last week due to pain in my ankle. It turns out the pain is being caused by scar tissue in the joint rather than from the articular cartilage! I ran today...it is 98 degrees here today in Seattle. It was the hardest 33 minute run I can remember doing in a very long time!

Photo Shoot....for the dogs
Titan & Fletcher took part in a photo shoot for the "100 Hounds of Kirkland" project which is a benefit calendar for the Seattle Humane Society. It was cute & I hope to share the final project with you all.

Dine with Your Dog '09
Tom and I took Titan & Fletcher & met Bill Blackburn & Bailey at The Barking Frog restaurant for our third annual Dine With Your Dog. It's always so cute because the dogs get 4 courses & they look edible for humans!

The Backyard...then & now
I was going through the Mac's photo library & stumbled onto 3 photos I'd taken just after I put in some landscape. It has certainly grown substantially in 3 seasons! The boys have certainly taken their toll on the back lawn...but oh well.

Painting project: Front Door
This weekend we started the job of repainting the front door. It had this horrible fake wood look on it that was starting to chip off from the dogs. So after much sanding (thanks Tom), I painted the exterior of the door. I still have the interior of the door to do...which I hope to accomplish today.
The bottom photo is from the inside (and what the door used to look like on the outside as well).
The top photo is the outside & what the inside will look like later today!
