The baby's bathroom

We finished off the bathroom this weekend. Last weekend it was a trip to Pottery Barn to purchase towels, a shower curtain, and some bath rugs. This weekend I painted a few canvases to match the shower curtain & towels. We didn't want to paint the bathroom walls, so we left them in their taupe color & just improvised with the towels, etc. in the bathroom.

35 week appointment

Today was our 35 week appointment. All seems status quo. I am not dilated at all yet (as expected) & only "slightly effaced". Translation: baby Malchow won't be here anytime soon, or at least any sooner than expected. She (baby Malchow) is in the "-1 station" (see photo). The good news is that baby Malchow's head is down (aka she's not breach!), which is always a good thing. She's VERY unlikely to turn at this point, so we're happy about that.


My next appointment will be in two weeks & we'll update you then as to her (or should I say my) progress.

All is well

My 32 week appointment was this morning. All is well! Even after the car accident episode, all seems to be perfectly on track with both myself & the baby. My appointments are now 2 weeks apart, so I go back in on the 16th of this month.
