Clark Griswold's house
We are so lucky (insert heavy sarcasm here) to have a neighbor that is aiming to rival the famous scene where beloved Clark W. Griswold essentially lights up his entire house. Yes, our neighbor works tirelessly to put up lights that must leave so many nail holes it would leave a termite starving.
The video was taken this evening...and I was walking (since Clark himself was still outside ADDING MORE LIGHTS) when I did this. I didn't exactly want to stop...I was afraid my gawking might add fuel to his fire and he might decide to leave them up year round! Speaking of which...these lights don't touch the inside of their storage boxes until St. Patrick's day, if we're lucky.

The countdown...
This Sunday December 6th will mark 20 weeks, or half-way through the pregnancy. I should be knocking on wood as I write this, but this has been the easiest 20 weeks of pregnancy! I thought for sure I'd be one to be sick and throwing up, sleepy, and overall just loathe being pregnant. But just shy of my noticeably growing belly, I don't even think I would even know I was pregnant, which gives plausibility to the show that airs on Discovery Health & TLC called "I didn't know I was pregnant".
The countdown is not to Sunday, though it is a milestone in being pregnant...the countdown is of course to Tuesday December 8th (3pm to be exact) when we have our next, and presumably last ultrasound. This ultrasound is used to look at the fetus' developing organs, namely the heart & lungs. The countdown is of course to find out the sex, which is simply an added bonus of the 20 week ultrasound. This however, assumes that baby will not have his/her legs crossed which would prevent the tech from determining the sex. Should that occur, fear not...there are companies out there that do that for a living (that is ultrasound clinics just for the money-making purpose of exploiting pregnant women that are dying to see their yet-to-be-born babies out of $200 cash). Yes, we'll give in & do this if baby won't cooperate, and we may do it anyway around the 32 week mark for fun (they say with the 4D ultrasounds you can see detailed facial features).
Next update to come on Tuesday night!
