Making ProgressTh
They have begun the siding & the HVAC work in the house. The back of the house has nearly all of its siding on
The interior of the home continues to be pretty bleak at this point. It's the same as it was before (framed), but now they have added a few plumbing pipes & the duct work. Our hot water heater & the furnace are now in & today I noticed the fireplace downstairs is in.
Of note, they have started 2 more foundations in the neighborhood. Lot 3 is "sold" and looks as if they are about to start pouring the foundation. Lot 13 has its foundation poured & will function as the next "Model Home". Right now there isn't a model home, but lot 30 will be the new model when it is completed next month. I was able to go into 30 last week. It's nice very nice. It will be nice to look at their landscape & hardscape in the back too as we prepare to meet with the landscape folks in the next few weeks.

Who's our Mercer Island, WA blog watcher?
After turning the blog to a an invited-only reader list....I'm stumped by the Mercer Island reader that appears to be on our blog daily...sometimes more than once a day. I'd love it if you'd identify yourself since I can't seem to figure out who you could possibly be. I'll be anxiously awaiting a comment to see who you are...
Selections
We have several meetings where we have to pick out everything from carpet to tile, bath fixtures to the front door. We have completed 2 meetings where we have picked out a bunch of things, our latest meeting was on Friday where we picked paint color, carpet color, hardwoods, cabinets, tile colors for floors in all the bathrooms, etc. I only took one photo....here are the color of our kitchen cabinets, the hardwood flooring & the slab granite countertops we picked out:
